I'll probably add more to this journal later (I'm just finding all sorts of ways to procrastinate on studying for the huge essay test tomorrow), but I wanted to ask you guys something:

What (or who) is your muse?

Perhaps you have more than one. It can be anything- music, nature, outside events, a friend, a love or lover, or even something inside of yourself. This is partially because of Six Word Stories "Inspiration Project" (see here: [link] ), but also because I'm planning on writing a story that delves into muses and... well, you'll just have to wait and see. ;P But yeah, I'd love to hear about where you draw your inspiration from whether you're an artist, writer, singer, etc. It can be different for different things you do. Let me know in your comments below! ;D
  • Listening to: Glee XD
  • Reading: The Lucifer Box novels, Inheritance
  • Watching: Legend of Korra
  • Playing: The Great Game
  • Eating: Nothing. I'm on a case.
  • Drinking: Water with way too much ice

My piano is my muse.

Seriously, I can create anything with that. =D

Otherwise, I am deeply wired to my emotions, so I dig into the feelings I have or had to look for inspiration.

Sounds weird, huh?

No, it doesn't sound weird at all. :)

I don't have a specific muse but my work is influenced by things like what song I'm listening to and what mood i'm in.

I think my muses is my past and my present. and the nature around me, the people around me, the feelings in side me. think there is more but nothing comes to mind right now ^^"

Hmm... I never really think of my past as a muse, but it makes sense. I guess I'm weird in that I write what I am not rather than what I am...

no it isn't weird to write about what you're not. I think it cool to write about what you're not, because it takes a good level of skills to set you in as someone you're not, to relate how they would feel, how the would react. that must take some serious skills.

As my friend once put- "You're a horrible person. T.T But a heck of a good writer." The former is true, the latter... I'm not quite sure. XD That quote was when I was working on a story with her and had presented an idea that was okay but I didn't really like because it felt too cliche. The next day I presented her with a much better idea, but also much crueler to all (fictional) parties involved. XD
